SIO has a three-tire system of organizational structure namely centre, zone and unit. While centre is made up of President, General Secretary, Central Secretariat and Central Advisory Council (CAC), zone includes President, Secretary, Zonal Secretariat and Zonal Advisory Council (ZAC). Units are based in cities, towns, villages, colleges and universities. Junior Associate Circles (JAC) are exclusively for children in the age group of 11 – 14 years.
